Notary Signing Agent

As a side, and to keep bread on the table, so to speak,
I am now in my second career as a Signing Agent.  I am certified by the National Notary Association, Commissioned for State of Vermont Number 157.0012251, with Errors & Omissions Insurance Coverage of $100,000.00. I work with banks, mortgage companies, real estate offices, title companies and signing companies to ensure that the signer’s loans are closed properly.  I travel throughout the State to meet my client’s Notarial needs.

I enjoy being a public servant, interacting with people, and taking a part in fighting identity theft. I say this because a notary’s main purpose is to properly verify one’s identity prior to notarizing a signature to any document.

I am very conscientious and want to do a thorough job.  Time is needed to review the instructions, print an average of 400 pages, peruse the documents and drive to the location, many of which are over 2 hours drive one way.

LOAN DOCUMENTS RECEIVED 2 HOURS BEFORE SIGNING DON’T WORK IN VERMONT

Vermonters appreciate their privacy and enjoy living in the country, many without street lights or road signs which means they don’t even exist to  GOOGLE GPS.

That being said, submission of loan documents a minimum of four (4) hours before scheduled signing allows me to provide You with the type of service you are seeking.   I look forward to meeting your notarial needs.

Of Utmost Importance  —  I am not attorney!

As a Vermont notary, I am not allowed to give legal advice because only an attorney can do so. This includes not giving advice regarding what documents need to be notarized, how to fill out documents, or what the documents mean in your particular situation.  I also cannot suggest what type of documents you might need or provide documents to you.  If you need any advice regarding your document(s), please speak to whomever directed you to have your signature notarized or seek the assistance of an attorney.

For your notarization, please make sure you have a copy front and back of valid drivers license plus a copy of another form of identification card issued within the last five years.  If you do not have either, please let me know up front so that we can arrange credible witnesses who can swear, under oath, to your identity. These witnesses must comply with Vermont identification requirements and have no vested interest in the document you will be signing.

Pricing is based on time and mileage.   For after hours, weekends and holidays additional fee applies.  Serve the following counties: Addison, Bennington, Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, Rutland, Washington, Windham, Windsor
